The Experience

Scenic Byway Tours are not events, but rather logistically supported routes. Each pod is capped at 25 cyclists per pod, so space is limited. We encourage you to confirm your registration at the time of announcement.

Scenic Byway Tours are 100% cycling focused. Summit Cycle Solutions is here to address a need. We are here to get the participant to the right places at the right times. We strive to make the participant's job the ride, not the logistics.

Routes are supported with SAG, Gear Movement, Lodging Discounts, Day Bag Services, Water-Snack Stations, and the identification of public facilities (restrooms & meals). Routes are designed to provide ample public services, in conjunction to our logistical services. First responder medics will be on-site to ensure support along the routes.

Cyclists are considered “self supported” and tail lights are required. Route navigation is provided via Ride With GPS only. We will host a rider check in on September 11, 2025. All routes start at The Hub Coffee Shop (downtown Grand Lake). Orientation information will be sent two (2) weeks before the event.

All cyclists must enter the Rocky Mountain National Park with our team before 8:00am. A single-day vehicle pass is required for the date of entry. If you have an annual or interagency pass, it is valid—but must be carried on your person. Please visit recreation.gov for offical information.

Trail Ridge Road: 58 Mi +5,590’

Prepare for an unforgettable ride across the rooftop of the Rockies. Trail Ridge Road, the highest continuous paved road in North America, climbs above 12,000 feet and offers sweeping alpine vistas, dramatic switchbacks, and the rare chance to ride through the heart of Rocky Mountain National Park.

Willow Creek Pass | 77 mi + 4243'

This remote and scenic route takes riders up Willow Creek Pass, a hidden gem nestled between the Never Summer and Rabbit Ears mountain ranges. With gradual climbing, light vehicle traffic, and wide-open views, it’s the perfect high-alpine experience without the crowds.

This iconic route is fully paved—please disregard any gravel indicators shown in the Ride With GPS link below.

Winter Park Return | 64 MI + 3753'

Get ready to cruise through crisp alpine air with gentle grades that help you build momentum for the other routes. Along the way, enjoy sweeping panoramic views of Grand Lake and Shadow Mtn. Lake before rolling into the charming town of Winter Park.
