Hotel Accommodations: Participants may book hotels through the official Colorado’s Ride lodging manifest (click here), featuring a wide range of rider-friendly options in each host town. Properties vary by price point, location, and amenities so you can choose what works best for you.

Luggage Transportation: Once your lodging is booked, Summit Cycle Solutions provides seamless luggage transfer between lodging locations so your bags are waiting when you arrive. You will be asked for your itinerary at the time of check out (section 2 below).

Real-Time Communication: All participants receive real-time communication throughout the event, including text alerts, on-site customer service, and access to a 24/7 urgent-matter phone line.

Services Protection Plan: A Services Protection Plan is available at checkout and provides 100% coverage for cancellations made up to 21 days prior to check-in for any reason. The plan carries a 10% premium and must be selected at the time of purchase. No cancellations are accepted within 21 days of check-in. Please review full terms during checkout.

Simply use the map key in the upper-right corner to filter lodging by town, then book directly using the provided links, discount codes, or phone numbers. It’s fast, flexible, and designed to make planning your ride effortless.

Your lodging itinerary will be requested by Summit Cycle Solutions after you book your gear transport services in Section 2, allowing our team to seamlessly coordinate luggage transfers and logistics on your behalf.

Maximum Luggage Weight: 65lbs

Pick Up Times: 6:30am-7:30am

Drop Off Times: Prior to check in.

Bag Tags: Pre built and available for pick up at start town HQ.

Lodging Radius: Hotels 5 miles from HQ each day will be serviced. Hotels must have a front desk.


SECTION 3: Questions & Answers

+ General Question: Why use Summit Cycle Solutions?

Answer: All services are managed through contractual agreements. Without giving away trade secrets, you can rest assured that our team manages all reservations diligently via a contract. We also always have a back up plan...we are in the business of events after all. 

+ GENERAL Question: When will S.C.S. start accepting reservations?

Answer: At the time of route annoucment.

+ GENERAL Question: Why does S.C.S. give full week lodging & luggage reservations priority?

Answer: We call it the “domino” effect. The primary issue is that partial week reservations incurred eliminate inventory (for participants seeking full week lodging). Likewise, S.C.S. does give priority to those seeking to use our luggage transfer service.

+ General Question: How does S.C.S. determine pricing?

Answer: If a hotel room cannot be negotiated down, then a small admin fee is added to the price of the lodging unit. In 2023, this fee was around $15-$25 dollars. S.C.S. is contractually obligated to a maximum/minimum mark-up guarantee...passing along savings to the customer!

Tax/surcharge rates are not controlled by S.C.S. These percentages are mandated by various town & resort entities. Please note that resort municipalities can often charge over-inflated rates...some as high as 18%. **We think it's crazy too! **

+ General Question: Can I purchase over the phone?

Answer: Yes! You may schedule a time to speak with an S.C.S. representative on the home page. S.C.S.'s urgent phone line is used during events only. With thousands of reservations, S.C.S. does work to streamline calls.

Warning, Inventory is live on the website. It is S.C.S.'s recommendation that you book online as we typically sell out quickly.

+ General Question: How long do I have to book once I have gained access to the site?

Answer: 15 minutes! With thousands of reservations coming in, S.C.S. does limit the amount of time a customer can "sit" on the inventory, prior to checking out. Thank you for understanding!

+ Lodging Question: Can S.C.S. accommodate group lodging requests?

Answer: Yes. In order to be eligible for group lodging packages, participants must meet the minimum requirements as set by Ride The Rockies. Please visit www.ridetherockies.com for more information. Please note that **split payments are only available for bookings over the phone. **

+ Lodging Question: Does S.C.S. pair roommates?

Answer: Yes. Please email info@summitcyclesolutions.com to be placed on the roommate waitlist. As soon as we have match...we will connect the dots!

+ Lodging Question: Do room rates include breakfast?

Answer: S.C.S. will note properties including breakfast under the details tab located within the book now portal. S.C.S. cannot honor the quality, timing, or the guarantee of breakfast each morning. Such items are under the direct control of the property. Ride The Rockies recognizes that breakfast is a key component to a rider’s day! **Breakfast is typically available for purchase at the start venue each morning. **

+ Lodging question: Can I purchase partial week reservations/services?

Answer: Full week participants with luggage transport are given priority. S.C.S. will open for partial week bookings at a later date (TBD).

If one night of S.C.S. inventory sells out... participants may book the maximum services/hotels available, then book "on own" for any nights not available through the website. If a participant requires luggage transfer to a Non-S.C.S. lodging property, please purchase the the Non-S.C.S. hotel luggage service.

+ LODGING Question: Can I make reservations outside of S.C.S and still be supported?

Answer: Yes (however not recommended). If a participant can't find lodging through S.C.S. he/she may attain lodging "on own," then purchase the "Non-S.C.S. luggage transfer service."

+ General Question: Can I cancel my reservation at any time?

Answer: No. Summit Cycle Solutions reservations are NON-REFUNDABLE.

A Services Protection Plan is available to the customer at the time of purchase (10% Premium / 100% Coverage). If a customer does not purchase a Services Protection Plan he/she shall be bound by the standard terms of the reservation being non-refundable. The Services Protection Plan may not be added to the reservation at a later date. The customer must select "yes" upon checkout to have the plan added. Customers that elect into the Services Protection Plan may cancel reservations (for any reason) up to 21 days prior to the check in date. No refunds shall be allowed after 21 days prior to the check in date. Refunds may only be issued to the original credit card, gift certificate (voucher), or account balance. The plan is for the entirety of the reservation and may not be used on a daily basis.

Summit Cycle Solutions highly recommends purchasing a robust, third party travel insurance policy to cover event expenses outside of our services! Payment in full is required at the time of booking as inventory is live.

In the case of a Force Majeure event, Summit Cycle Solutions shall adjust polices. Adjusted polices may include Insurance Claim Support, Deferral Vouchers, and Partial Refunds based on services rendered. Refunds may only be issued to the original credit card, gift certificate (voucher), or account balance.

In the case of an event cancellation due to event promoter negligence, Summit Cycle Solutions shall issue deferral vouchers to be used at other Summit Cycle Solutions events. The customer herby recognizes that Summit Cycle Solutions is an event logistics, and services company. The customer herby agrees to protect, indemnify, and hold Summit Cycle Solutions, and its contractors harmless.

+ LODGING Question: Are reservations transferable?

Answer: No

+ Bag Transfer Question: What size bag can I have?

Answer: 65 lbs. is the maximum weight for 2024. Maximum weight limits will be enforced. Participants are requested to ensure that they have purchased enough services prior to arrival. One Booking = One Bag Transfer.

+ Bag Transfer Question: Where do I leave bags each day?

Answer: For S.C.S. hotel properties, participants will have a designated area to drop off/pick up luggage. These areas are typically identified with S.C.S. signage and a security camera.
