The Experience
Scenic Byway Tours are not events, but rather logistically supported routes. Each pod is capped at 25-50 cyclists per pod, so space is limited. We encourage you to confirm your registration at the time of announcement

Scenic Byway Tours are 100% cycling focused. Summit Cycle Solutions is here to address a need. We are here to get the participant to the right places at the right times. We strive to make the participant's job the ride, not the logistics.
Routes are supported with SAG, Gear Movement, Lodging Discounts, Day Bag Services, Water-Snack Stations, and the identification of public facilities (restrooms & meals). Routes are designed to provide ample public services, in conjunction to our logistical services. First responder medics will be stationed on-site to ensure support along the routes.
Cyclists are considered “self supported” and tail lights are required. Route navigation is provided via Ride With GPS only. We will host rider meetings at your start hotel on June 14, 2026. All routes start at the hotel lobby. Orientation information will be sent two (2) weeks before the event.

Ouray TO Durango: 73.5 Mi + 6,595’
Red Mountain Pass is a true test of courage and endurance (Google it)! Known as the "Million Dollar Highway," this awe-inspiring road earned its name from the staggering $1 million per mile it cost to construct.
Keep your eyes on the big sky of the southwest!
Durango to Cortez: 56.6 Mi + 3,460’
We roll west out of Durango and into the wide-open landscapes of Southwest Colorado. This scenic ride trades high alpine passes for expansive views, gentle rollers, and big-sky riding as we move through ranch-land and high desert terrain. Keep an eye out for distant glimpses of Mesa Verde’s mesas as we settle into a steady, rewarding day in the saddle.
Telluride views don’t disappoint.
